Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to https://www.topcoder.com
  2. Click "My Profile" under the profile icon on the right
    3.On the profile page, Click the edit icon under the "Skills" part
  3. Under the "Select principal part", type unnecessary texts
  4. Click "Save"
  5. Save

Actual result

Not text limit and Unnecessary texts typed show "Skills updated succesfully" under My profile Principal skill selection part. Doesnt save but says successful

Expected result

If the correct skill is typed it should be saved, text limit for skill typed should be defined to a certain number, if the skill doesnt exists it shouldnt display successfull saved notification.
