Description:

Irrelevant information is shown under the Submission Date column; instead of the submission date, the winning position is displayed. Additionally, if the submission is sensitive and the Submission tab is hidden for the user, the winning position should also not be displayed under the Submission Date column because it is unrelated to the date.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Login to the application as a user with access to submissions.
  2. Navigate to the challenge submissions page.
  3. Observe the Submission Date column for entries.
  4. For sensitive submissions where the Submission tab is hidden, observe the data shown under Submission Date.

Actual results:

  • Submission Date column shows the winning position instead of the actual submission date.
  • Even when the Submission tab is hidden due to sensitivity, the winning position is still displayed under the Submission Date column.
  • Misleading information is presented, causing user confusion.

Expected results:

  • Submission Date column should always display the actual submission date.
  • For sensitive submissions where the Submission tab is hidden, the Submission Date column should not display the winning position or any unrelated data.
  • The column should remain blank or show a placeholder indicating no date is available if submission date is not permitted.

Issue was noticed only on the above challenge that was held on 2009. It is not reproducible with the newer challenges.

Also the registration date for that particular challenge is all same. Just wondering what could have caused the dates to be incorrect or missing.
